Temporomandibular Joint Disorder (TMJ Disorder ) or Temporomandibular Disorders ( TMD’s ) is a
musculoskeletal pathology affecting the masticatory ( or chewing ) system. TMD’s is an umbrella term which incorporates diseases not only associated with TMJ but also with the muscles of mastication, neck and also back muscles. Patient with TMD’s often presents with pain in jaw , face, head, neck and back pain.
Sometimes headaches and neck pain may be the only symptoms leading the patient to visit ENT specialist, general physician and neurologists. Myofascial pain which is a TMD , often gets misdiagnosed as migraine or Trigeminal neuralgia leading to patient suffering from ineffective and inadequate treatments.

Prof. Dr Deepak Daryani Completed his Bachelor Of Dental Surgery From M.R.Ambedkar
Dental College & Hospital. He went on to pursue his Master Of Dental Surgery in Oral Medicine
& Radiology from A.B.Shetty Memorial Institute Of Dental Sciences in 2007. Dr Deepak Daryani
established HSR Dental Clinic & Implant Centre in 2008 with the Moto of serving Excellence in
every field of dentistry. HSR Dental Clinic & Implant Centre is a multi-speciality dental clinic
where Dr Deepak Daryani along with his team of experienced specialists in every field of dentistry

Dr Deepak Daryani has formulated a unique protocol for the management of TMD’s by combining Pharmecotherapy, Occlusal splint therapy, Physical therapies, Laser therapy, Sleep management, Posture management, Diet management and other physical self regulation techniques synergistically to manage TMJ Disorder and Orofacial pain predictably for long term. He also conducts certified courses regarding Management Of TemporoMandibular Disorder’s in general dental practice. He has given several lectures nationally & internationally in the subject Of TMD’s & Orofacial Pain Management. He is currently pursuing Fellowship in TMD’s, Orofacial Pain & Dental Sleep Medicine from Roseman University, College Of Dental Medicine Utah, USA. His other areas of interest includes Nonsurgical Laser Therapy in management of Mucosal lesions, Management Of Geriatric Patients, Management Of Patients with Xerostomia and Dental Management Of Medically compromised patients.
Dr Deepak Daryani has many national and international publications in reputed journals to his
credit. He was in the Editorial core committee of Journal Of Indian Acadamy Of Oral Medicine And
Radiology (JIAOMR) , which is the DCI recognised National Journal of Oral Medicine & Radiology and In Editorial Committee of Malabar Dental Journal. He has contributed significantly in the famous book by Dr Shantipriya Reddy titled “Essentials Of Clinical Periodontology and Periodontics”. Dr Deepak Daryani has also fabricated modified Carlson crittenden cup for the collection of exclusive unstimulated parotid saliva.
